   Native American Saddle*

*Native American saddles are difficult to find and the exhibitors say they are very uncomfortable.  Old
packsaddles are similar to Native Saddles. Calvary saddles are appropriate and more comfortable.  Many use
their western or gaming saddle: the saddle is covered in the back by the hip piece and the trade blanket can be
wrapped around the rider in such a way that the remaining western saddle is covered.  Stirrups can have
tapederos type coverings.  I am always on the search for Native American saddles.  If you find one, buy it or let
me know about it.
The below items are needed to comprise a Girl's or Woman's Native American costume,
along with basic horse regalia.  The prices listed are intended to give you a "ballpark"
idea - the lower end is less beadwork, less decoration, and regularly tanned hide, while
the upper end is lots of beadwork and decoration, or brain
-tanned hide.  The time that
it takes to complete a costume is anywhere from 3 to 6 months, depending on what
pieces are wanted and how detailed the decorations are.  Rush orders
are accepted in
special instances (such as last minute Int
ernational, World, Regional, or Classic
orders) but there is a rush fee charged.  Please email me if you need a rush order.
I enjoy maintaining a high amount of communication with my customers, sending
e-mails and in-process photos, as well as an occasional phone call.  I am more than
willing to brainstorm with you to figure out a design that is not only spectacular, but
also within your price range.  Email me for more details.
